Account-Based Ticketing

AMFARE cloud-based platform supports modules for account-based fare collection that can be customized to meet public transport agencies needs. With account-based ticketing (ABT) all customer data, such as fare products, e-wallet balance, transactions and validations, are stored in the central back-end system.

Introduce seamless travel and MaaS capabilities through the unlimited flexibility of AMFARE account-based ticketing platform.

ABT enables transport agencies to make available both the “Pre-pay” and/or the “Pay-as-you-Go” options, combined with “best fare” policies that are configurable by each PTO.
On top of the above, AMFARE provides ABT solutions for both:

  • Closed-loop cards and QR-codes.
  • Open payments via EMV bank cards.

Open Payments

AMFARE supports open-loop ticketing. Passengers can use physical or virtual contactless bank cards (in a mobile wallet app) as ticketing media.

AMFARE open-loop payments allow users to pay for mobility services as they go, with their preferred card or device, securely and conveniently.
