AMCO undertook the implementation of a new electric utility system in the Municipality of Thermaikos.

The purpose of the project is the continuous improvement of mobility within the urban fabric, as well as the strengthening of micro-mobility within the Municipality, reducing the use of cars for short distances and decongesting the road network.

More specifically, AMCO will supply 54 electric dicycles, especially designed for bike sharing systems, as well as 2 shared bike rental stations. Users will have the possibility to rent a bike, using the infokiosks that will be installed at each rental station or their mobile phone, through a mobile application.

This systems comes to strengthen and complete the “green” infrastracture of the Municipality of Thermaikos, making citizens’ transportation and every day life safer and more sustainable.
